翻閱老兵的文章時，發現這篇語文雖簡短，但是寓意深長的文字。

這篇美國陸軍戰士之誓(U.S._Soldier's_Creed)是很具代表性的美國陸軍精神教育,這版是更新版的,發行於2003年,雖然只是短短的幾行字,卻很有力道,當年在服役時,遇到艱困的狀況或是心理不平衡之時,這誓言就會默默的在腦海中閃過,也因而這樣讓自己安渡了這些時刻,而誓言中間的要義至今仍是我個人奉行不變的教條,以下就是原文與翻譯與大家分享.

I am an American Soldier.
I am a Warrior and a member of a team. I serve the people of the United States and live the Army Values.
I will always place the mission first.
I will never accept defeat.
I will never quit.
I will never leave a fallen comrade.
I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills. I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself.
I am an expert and I am a professional.
I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy the enemies of the United States of America in close combat.
I am a guardian of freedom and the American way of life.

我 是團隊裡的一份子也是個戰士

我在念這段的時候把”美國”改成”中華民國”，也出乎意料的合，而且更有力道！
所以國軍的”余誓以至誠……”，可以簡單白話一點啦。
